MOGO Uganda champions Education through continued support in Mukono
20.04.2026

In September last year, when MOGO Uganda first visited Nsanja Primary School in Mukono, Ntenjeru, the reality on the ground was difficult. The school faced significant challenges, limited resources, strained facilities, and an environment that made learning harder for many pupils. Yet, beyond those challenges, there was something undeniable: potential. It was in that moment that a commitment was made not just to show up once, but to continue supporting and growing alongside the school.
True to that commitment, MOGO Uganda returned this year for a follow-up outreach, in partnership with the old students of St. Kizito SS, Kabowa - through their association, SKKOSA; Rotaract Club of Ntinda, and the Motherly Heart Foundation. This visit was not just about giving, but about continuity, progress, and reinforcing a shared vision for a better learning environment.
Through collective effort, a range of essential items were donated, including scholastic materials, clothes, shoes, sanitary towels for school-going girls, and cleaning supplies such as detergents. These contributions were aimed at improving both the learning conditions and overall wellbeing of the pupils ensuring they can study in a more comfortable, dignified, and supportive environment.

A key highlight of the initiative was the active involvement of MOGO Uganda staff, who came together to contribute generously toward the cause. Their participation reflects a strong culture of empathy and social responsibility within the organization one that goes beyond business to create real, lasting impact in the communities we serve.
The day itself was filled with warmth and meaningful interaction. Engaging with the pupils and the school community offered a powerful reminder that lasting change is built through consistency and care. While progress may take time, every effort contributes to building a stronger foundation for the future.

At MOGO Uganda, we believe that empowering communities goes beyond financial services. Supporting education is one of the most impactful ways to drive long-term development, and initiatives like this are part of our broader commitment to sustainable impact. As we continue this journey with Nsanja Primary School, we remain dedicated to working with partners and stakeholders to create opportunities that inspire hope, promote growth, and build brighter futures for the next generation.
